This is not your average navigation system. The Volt features two screens.
A center column screen includes everything you would expect: navigation,
radio, and air conditioning controls. The second screen on the dash shows
what engineers have dubbed the “green leaf” with the battery gauge, fuel
gauge, and total range. The battery gauge is active during the electric
operation. It indicates the battery charge level and electric range estimate.
The fuel gauge is inactive during electric operation. It indicates the fuel
level and the fuel range estimate. The total range is the combined estimate
f the electric and fuel range available. The Volt allows you to set your own
charging time for convenience which can be controlled by a mobile app. It
even allows you to optimize your charge times by working around your
utility schedule by not charging during peak rate times. With a standard 120
