The H&H Chevrolet Scholarship Program
In 2002, H&H Chevrolet began a scholarship program to help fill a growing need. As an employer, H&H was constantly searching for quality employees with a solid work ethic and an excellent educational background. The management and staff at H&H felt there was a need to invest in educational opportunities for the future, not just for the automotive industry, but for the community as well.
Each year the H&H Scholarship Program offers up to five $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors planning to attend a college, university or technical school. Preference is given to applicants majoring in automobile technical skills or collision repair. The goal of the program is to help defray the costs of higher education for worthy individuals and build quality job prospects for the local automobile industry.
Since 2002 H&H Chevrolet has given over $25,000 in scholarships to area high school students. See the attachment for an application for this year’s scholarship opportunity.
