Administrative Fee Disclosure
H+H Automotive LLC and its ailiated dealerships charge an administrative fee on each retail
vehicle transaction. This fee is not related to the negotiated price of the vehicle and is charged to all
customers to help oset a portion of the administrative, regulatory, and operational costs
associated with completing and documenting a motor vehicle sale.
These costs include, but are not limited to, expenses related to compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing motor vehicle sales, consumer protection requirements, privacy and data protection standards, identity verification procedures, anti-theft safeguards, document processing, and long-term record retention. The administrative fee also helps cover the personnel, technology systems, and operational processes required to properly prepare, process, transmit, and store transaction documents and vehicle registration information.
While the administrative fee helps oset these costs, it may also contribute to dealership profit. Below is a partial list of examples of expenses and activities associated with these administrative and compliance requirements:
- Asset protection and loss prevention measures
- Cashier’s check and processing fees
- Check guarantee services
- Consumer privacy protection safeguards
- Courier and document delivery services
